Our Story

Allegro Academy is a small non-profit music conservatory in Easton, Maryland, with the ambition of inspiring a lifelong appreciation for the joy of music. Founded in 2017, Allegro Academy connects musicians of all ages – from beginner, intermediate, and advanced students to the best local and international artists – through workshops, lessons, ensembles, and public instrumental and choral performances to enrich the lives of musicians and enthusiasts of all ages and incomes in our community.


Allegro Academy, located in the arts and entertainment district of historic downtown Easton, MD, exemplifies the many ways music inspires audiences, performers, and students and promotes a lifelong appreciation for music and the performing arts. Programs of the Academy are supported in part by generous contributions from individuals in our community, Talbot Arts, and Maryland State Arts Council.

Our Mission

Is to offer exceptional music education and performance experiences to the greater Talbot County Area and to make these offerings affordable to all.

Is to create a community that understands and appreciates one another through the joy of making music together.
